Chauhan Devusinh Jesingbhai (Chauhan Devusinh) of BJP (alliance: NDA) won in this seat defeating INC. BJP polled 5,68,235 of the total of 9,55,906 votes polled. INC won the seat in the 2009 Lok Sabha elections.
